This Tuesday's training session marked the start of Sevilla FC's first-team's final week of training. Following their qualification for the UEFA Europa League in last weekend's derby, the team enjoyed two days rest that came to an end today as the team took their first steps back on the pitch. Academy team players Alfonso, Luismi and Jose Espinar took part in today's session, whilst Gabriel Mercado and Jesús Navas were absent.
The Sports Village will see the team train again this Wednesday with a closed-door training session at 11:00am. The team are focussing all their efforts on preparing for their final competitive match of the season, which will take place this Saturday in Nervión against Deportivo Alavés, with a kick-off time of 18:30pm.
