MERCADO AND BANEGA MAKE ARGENTINA WORLD CUP SQUAD

Jorge Sampaoli has submitted his final squad for the Russia World Cup, including Sevilla FC players Éver Banega and Gabriel Mercado. With Guido Pizarro making the provisional squad of 35 players but not making the final cut, Sevilla will see two players pull on the blue and white shirt in the biggest international competition in football. 

With their selection, there are now three Sevilla internationals who will be heading for Russia - with Steven Nzonzi also guaranteed a seat on the France plane. For their parts, Layún, Muriel and Kjaer await their final squad-lists.
