If anything was clear about Quincy Promes' presentation before the media on Friday, it was his happiness of having ended up in Sevilla FC. A club which he says he's familiar with, as well as with 'the passion of the people who live here, I've had a very warm welcome, which I really appreciate, and I really want to be here. I'm very happy.
'I felt yesterday that I could make all of these people in the stadium happy'
In fact, it was landing here and going to the Sánchez-Pizjuán to see the second half of the win against Sigma Olomouc which brought him memories: 'When I came here yesterday I remembered being here last year, there's an incredible atmosphere. I felt like the fans had confirmed I was in the right place, and that I could make all of them happy.'

Asked about the next game, the derby, Promes asserted he knew the importance of the game: 'I've already played games like this in other clubs, and if they let me, I feel ready to play.' He affirmed, 'I've been following the game for the last few weeks, I've seen how they try to play and I'm going to fit in perfectly.'
An arrival which Promes himself said was a challenge: 'That's why I'm here, to take this challenge and face up to it, I've confidence in myself and I like to face challenges. I'm going to do everything I can to achieve great things for this club.
I've heard the Himno del Centenario a couple of times and it really touches me
The player, who for the moment is attending the media in English, promised to do so very soon in Spanish: 'I'm trying to understand a bit of Spanish, I understand a bit but I can't say that I speak it yet, but I've listened to the Himno del Centenario a couple of times and it really touches me. It gets to me. It's a song I hope to be able to sing very soon and I like it a lot.
