Joris Gnagnon played the whole game for the France U21s against Luxemburg, having not played in their first match. The French team, who have already qualified for the U21 Euros next year, defeated the bottom-placed side in their group 2-0.

However, Juan Soriano was unable to get any playing time in Spain U21s' 2-1 defeat to Northern Ireland. Just like the French team, De la Fuente's side have already secured qualification for the Euros.
