Nolito started in Krasnodar and scored Sevilla's only goal. After the game, he rued the defeat: 'There were phases during the game in which we were really good, although I do think they were better on some occasions. The defeat hurts but we have to accept it and turn our minds to Sunday as Celta will be a tough opponent.' The winger believes that the team could have changed the script: 'That's the way it is, there's no need to get down about it, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. When we were playing better we could have got the second, but we have to keep going and correct our errors so we don't commit them on Sunday.'
Nolito's goal brought a big celebration from the team: 'I feel really valued by my teammates, I'm not having the luck to be out on the pitch playing but I'm keeping on trying my best so the manager puts me on. I had a small goal-drought, but I'm keeping on working so that Machín knows I'm an option. I'm well experienced with this, sometimes they've gone in off my backside and other times I've missed easy chances. I'm calm, I'm more worried about playing than my finishing.'
