Pablo Machín, Sevilla FC's manager, analysed his team's win this evening against Celta de Vigo: 'We tried to slow down the game more than usual to prevent losing possession in dangerous areas. We had to hold out at the end, but we know these things can happen in matches in the top division. Celta have scored in every match they've played and we wanted to keep a clean sheet but we're happy with the victory and wins are a good way to make up for mistakes.'

They're a team looking to do better and they only play once a week. We managed to find that extra bit of pace in crucial areas and we hardly gave away any chances. The sending-off gave us the advantage and we could have made the scoreline more comfortable,' he commented.

Speaking about André Silva, who was involved in the play in which Araujo received his second yellow card, and the upcoming visit to the Nou Camp, Machín affirmed: 'André shows in each match that he is a fighter and always works for the benefit of the team. First, we're going to make sure all the players, both fit and injured, recover and when we return and everyone comes back in the best shape possible, we'll look forward to the match against FC Barcelona.'
