MURIEL: 'AFTER BARCELONA WE HAD TO SHOW THAT WE WEREN'T LETTING OUR GUARD DOWN'

Sevilla FC's forward, one of the goalscorers on the night, was happy with his performance: 'I feel very motivated because I'm working hard to give the manager some difficult decisions to make and I think that he's noticing it.'

Luis Muriel was interviewed after this Thursday's win against Akhisarspor of Turkey. The Colombian forward was satisfied with the team's performance: 'After those first few minutes in Barcelona we had to show that we weren't letting out guard down and today we took control of the game in the first few minutes.'

He also underlined the team's desire to fight in every match: 'Sevilla play good football and bring intensity to the games. We're going to fight for everything this year.'

To finish, He analysed his personal situation, while also looking at the team as a whole: 'It's important to continue scoring so that the manager trusts in me. Quincy scored today and the one that benefits the most will be the team. I'm very motivated because I´m working very hard to give the manager some difficult decisions to make and I think that he's noticing it. With effort and hard work, the rewards will come at any moment.'
