GONALONS CONTINUES TO MAKE PROGRESS UPON THE TEAM'S RETURN FROM VILLANUEVA

Seeing Maxime Gonalons training once again with the rest of his teammates was one of the most notable details of the training session this Friday, the first that Pablo Machín has been able to fully dedicate to preparing for their visit this Sunday to the Anoeta, where Real Sociedad await. However, this session was still dictated by yesterday's match in Villanueva de la Serena, as the players who started the game in Extremadura went through a recovery session in the gym. The rest of the squad took part in a full training session on the pitch of the Estadio Jesús Navas at the Ciudad Deportiva, although there were no signs of Mercado and André Silva who are carrying knocks.

The team will return to work this Saturday afternoon before travelling to San Sebastián, but contrary to the usual routine, Pablo Machín's press conference will take place on Friday at 13:00 CET in the press room of the Ciudad Deportiva.
