The defender highlighted that the team 'knew how to dig in when required,' fighting 'until the last minute for this shirt'

'It was a very important win,' said Carriço after the epic comeback this Sunday in Nervión. 'We knew that Espanyol would come with confidence, they're a very good team, with lots of quality players... But we knew how to dig in when required and we were impressive when we went at them to turn the match around. We fought until the last minute for this shirt. We also played with the support of our fans, and that is fundamental. We go into the international break very happy because we're up there in the table and we have to continue in the same way.'

'There's still a lot of the league left to play and we know that each one of us has an important role in this squad. Everyone knows that we have to be together and pull in the same direction until the end of the season,' he added.
