MERCADO: 'WE PUT OURSELVES SECOND AND SHOWED THAT WE'RE A VERY STRONG TEAM'

Gabriel Mercado was interviewed after the win against RCD Espanyol. The Argentine, scorer of the equalising goal, was happy with the win: 'We were able to win thanks to God, We put ourselves second and showed that we're a strong team here and that we should continue down this road. The match was tough, and the quality of Ever and Wissam decided the game after the equaliser.'

The centre-back also said that the win has a lot of merit: 'We had to work hard. A performance against a great opponent...the win has a lot of merit. We keep picking up points our way, growing, gaining confidence, but we can't relax because that can always be costly. We have to continue working and win the next match.
