On Wednesday morning, media were invited to the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios to see the works that are currently being undertaken to modernise the training village, particularly the ground floor of the new stand which will be equipped with new dressing rooms and offices, making it a modern training village, fit for all of Sevilla FC's demands.

'There are few clubs which can boast of having three World Cup winners and we want to keep producing that kind of footballer. The club is putting emphasis on how we need to care and look after the number of young players we have here. This is the factory that Sevilla FC wants,' highlighted the Director of Football, Joaquín Caparrós, who also underlined that the Estadio Jesús Navas will have photos of previous academy graduates throughout the clubs history which will have descriptions below them.

2,000 square meters with a Mixed Zone, press room, medical centre; all with air conditioning and acoustic roofs

The new building, which will be inaugurated next spring, will be 2,000 square meters. All of the offices will be located on the first floor, with room for 130 employees. There will be ten dressing rooms in the Zona Norte for the youth teams, while the Zona Sur will be for Sevilla FC Womens' teams, Sevilla C and referees. It will have a Mixed Zone, press room, medical centre and reception, all with air conditioning.

Furthermore, the medical centre in the Estadio Jesús Navas will be for the academy, meaning the currently existing one will be for exclusive first-team use. The acoustic roofs are a technological innovation which allow for the recollection of rainwater and its use for irrigation. In addition, the dressing rooms for the youngest teams will be equipped with urinals and sinks of the appropriate size and all access points will be accessible by those in wheelchairs.
