20 MINUTES FOR FRANCO VÁZQUEZ IN CÓRDOBA AGAINST MÉXICO (2-0)

A special day for Franco Vázquez, who returned home this Friday with the Argentinian national team. The first of two matches scheduled against México during this international break and the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes wanted to see one of their own, who grew up with Belgrano before heading to Europe. He did not start the game, with neither he nor Gabriel Mercado in the starting line-up, but Mudo was able to get some minutes on the pitch. 

He came on in the 72nd minute for another Córdoba native Paulo Dybala, when Argentina were already ahead thanks to a goal from Funes Mori on the stroke of half-time. After Mudo came on the decisive second goal arrived, through an own goal by Brizuela. In the early hours of Wednesday morning Spanish time, Argentina and México will face off once again, this time in Mendoza, in another friendly match.
