Sevilla FC's medical team inform that French midfielder Maxime Gonalons underwent successful surgery today for his fractured malleolus suffered this past Thursday in a friendly against Sevilla Atlético. Surgery took place in Lyon. Once the result of the surgery becomes clear, his recovery process will begin.

For a successful recuperation, club doctors estimate that the midfielder will need just over three months. Naturally, Gonalons has been given this recovery window to ensure he will be able to pull on the Sevilla shirt again.
