Ever Banega analysed the draw against Alavés: 'After going 1-0 we were finally able to get the draw. At times we sensed the win was there, when we got the equaliser we wanted to go for the win but we didn't have the luck.'

Regarding the manager's changes throughout the game: 'I think that every player who plays has to bring something and even more so when you're in so many competitions. The changes helped us. We have to keep going, the good thing in football is that you have the chance to get back into action every three or four days. No matter where the manager decides to play me, I'll always be there to help out.'
