MACHÍN: 'WE HAVE TO STOP THESE BRIEF MOMENTS OF WEAKNESS'

The coach rued his team's errors which led to defeat in injury time against La Liga's bottom side

Pablo Machín did not hide his emotions in front of the media after the defeat in Huesca: 'I'm annoyed as we all are and more for how it came about. It's incredibly harsh but we have to get up again; we did some things well and other things badly. We have to stop these brief moments of weakness because in other moments we show the strength we have. We have to work on this and the dressing room is hurt, something which shows me the players are committed to the cause. We have to get back up again because the Europa League is just around the corner.'

Machín is clear as to what the cure is: 'It's simple, win. We thought we had today but VAR ruled otherwise. An excess of ambition, although for me ambition can never be excessive, left us open to that final counterattack and they were clinical, something that we weren't today. We had clear chances and we have to be critical with ourselves.'
