The Portuguese defender, who returned to action on Sunday against Real Sociedad, was 'proud of my teammates'

If there was something that Carriço highlighted to the club's media after Sunday's rout against Real Sociedad, it was the team's aggressivity: 'It was a really tough game, we came off the back of a bad run and we knew we had to keep believing in our work, keep pushing and the goals would eventually come. We played really well and very aggressively. This is Sevilla, we never give up and today in front of our fans we got the win, scoring five goals. I'm proud of my teammates,' he added.

After going into the break level, Carriço warned the team they 'had to fight to the death, be more intense, press more aggressively... We pushed up the pitch and we controlled their forwards. It was a perfect performance. We were clinical and played brilliantly.'

'We like to play on the edge, full of intensity and for those 20 minutes we challenged for every single ball with everything we had. That's how it's done. Now there are two very important games coming up. The first on Thursday in our competition. We have to believe in ourselves first of all, that's the path. We have a big chance of going through on Thursday, we're going to Prague full of confidence,' he concluded.
