WÖBER TO PLAY IN FRIENDLIES FOR AUSTRIA U21S AGAINST ITALY AND SPAIN

The centre-back will come up against Italy on 21 March in Trieste and will play Spain in Algeciras four days later

Sevilla FC's centre-back, Maximilian Wöber, has been called up by Austria U21s for the next set of international fixtures. Wöber will take part in two friendlies, both away from home. On Thursday 21 March he will be in Trieste against Italy U21s, while on Monday 25 March his team will travel to Algeciras to play Spain U21s.

Wöber has been called up by his nation's senior side; however, he has not made his debut yet. In fact, the coach Franco Foda has included him in the reserve list for the international break, meaning that, should anyone drop out from the squad, Wöber may well be playing with the senior squad instead.
