Sevilla FC will have eight players on international duty this international break as Vaclík, who had initially been called up, has been released by his national team. Despite picking up an injury in last Sunday's game in Barcelona, he travelled to Prague for the Czech doctors to analyse him. They have decided that the best would be for the player to return to Sevilla to continue his recovery.
Vaclík will therefore not play in the Euro 2020 qualifier against England tonight, nor the friendly against Brazil next Tuesday in the Eden Arena. Despite this, before returning to Spain, the player received an award on Monday night after being chosen as the best Czech player of 2018 in a vote organised by the Czech Football Association.
