Joaquín Caparrós was interviewed following Sevilla FC's defeat against Valencia CF at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. The coach said 'we are not happy - it was an important game and in an unfortunate moment they got their goal. It wasn't to be, there are a lot of points to play for and we have to push on.'
The coach stated 'these things happen in football. Now we have to ready ourselves for Thursday's game. We pushed on in the second half, we had a lot of chances but we didn't have the luck you need.'

The coach then went on to speak about Banega's position: 'We worked on this possibility but we knew it would be tough. We didn't make the most of it and we know that he performs best in the midfield.'
He did not forget to praise the academy players, highlighting Javi Díaz' debut in goal: 'I want to highlight Díaz' calmness and Bryan showed that he wants more. He has to keep improving.'
With another game at home on Thursday, there is no time to look back: 'If before we had little margin for error, now we have even less. The players have to come together, lift their heads, recover and take a step forward on Thursday night.'
