He received a ban of three games for the straight red card and one additional one-game ban for an accumulation of yellow cards

The Spanish FA's disciplinary committee has handed Éver Banega a four-match ban after his sending off this Sunday in Montivili, where Sevilla FC faced Girona FC. The Argentine midfielder saw a direct red card and was immediately given a three-match ban in line with disciplinary procedure. However, Banega has been given a futher suspension, through the accumulation of yellow cards. He saw a yellow earlier in the game before receiving a direct red card late in the second-half.

The ban means Banega will miss the final three games of the season, along with the opening game of the 19/20 campaign.
