PENALTY WIN OVER BETIS TAKES ACADEMY THROUGH TO LALIGA PROMISES QUARTER-FINAL

Ibra scored the goal that put Sevilla ahead, as well as the third and winning penalty to take Sevilla through to the quarters

Quarter-finals here we come. Sevilla FC managed a glorious win this Saturday morning in the LaLiga Promises tournament to take some of our brightest prospects through to the last-eight. Early Sevilla domination would see the Nervionenses take the lead through Ibra, and while Betis would find an equaliser, the Sevillistas would prevail in the penalty shootout. The hero of the shootout was Diego Domínguez, who held on to Betis' second penalty.

Fernando Cáceres side will now face RC Celta, who already held Sevilla's youngsters to a 1-1 draw in the group stages of the competition.
