The team trained on the team hotel's pitches for over an hour

The First Team squad laced up their boots for the first time in Portugal this morning, for Julen Lopetegui's first training session of the first stage of preseason. The first session of the day started at 10:00AM and predominantly involved physical and fitness work.

This was followed by the more tactical part of the session, in which the group was split in two. Julen Lopetegui and his assistants did not hesitate to stop the exercises to give indications with which, little by little, the philosophy of Lopetegui's style of play was explained. Afterwards, the players moved to the gym at the front of the hotel.
