The novelty, in addition to new Serbian signing Nemanja Gudelj, who trained yesterday under the orders of Lopetegui, was Carlos Fernández, who after returning from his vacation and passing medical tests this morning, trained for the first time with the rest of his teammates.
For his part, Sergio Rico did not train, and will be on the sidelines for the next few days while he is treated for an eye problem.
The Nervionenses will return to the training pitch in a matter of hours, with Lopetegui's next session scheduled for 09:30 Thursday. Next Friday, Sevilla FC will leave for Germany to carry out the third pre-season tour of 19/20.
