FIRST TRAINING SESSION IN BAD SCHÖNBORN

A comfortable temperature and cloudy skies were the backdrop to Sevilla's first training session following victory in the Opel Cup

After a Sunday of travel, rest and recuperation for the first team squad, this Monday, the time came to return to action as the squad continues its preparation for the new season. Julen Lopetegui led the team's first training session in Bad Schönborn - where the Nervionenses will be based following its arrival in the south-west German city last night.

The session's primary focus was fitness, though Lopetegui kept the ball moving throughout. Following tactical exercises, the session finished with a friendly. Local temperatures did not exceed 20 degrees - far from the blistering temperatures to be found eslewhere in central Europe.

The team will train again at 19:00.
