Sevilla FC and RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement for Sebastien Corchia to go on loan to Espanyol for the season, with an option to buy at the end included.
Corchia came to Sevilla during the summer of the 2017/18 season, playing around twenty games. After the pre-season of 2018/19, where he played twice in the preliminary rounds of the UEFA Europa League, the French footballer went on loan to Benfica, where a serious injury restricted him to only making around a dozen-or-so appearances.
After starting this season here at Sevilla within the ranks of Lopetegui, the player moves to Barcelona in an attempt to regain a bit of consistency that he has not been able to achieve over the previous seasons. Sevilla FC would like to wish Corchia the best of luck in this new stage of his career with Espanyol.
