OCAMPOS: "WE SCORED AND THEN WE SOAKED UP THE PRESSURE"

The Argentine was very happy with the performance of the team during their second consecutive league victory

Lucas Ocampos was once again a starter against Granada, and at the end of the game, with the three points in the bag, he spoke about his happiness with the win: "I'm very happy. That's six points already that we've won, therefore I'm more than happy. We started well, just like we've done throughout pre-season. The team is feeling good right now and we showed that on the pitch". In addition, he recognised that the team had to know how to suffer: "We scored and then they were on top because they're a great team and they know how to play. We knew how to soak up the pressure, and that's why, in the end, we won".

That being said, they made it more difficult for themselves due to the chances they missed at the end of the match: "It's definitely something we can improve on. There were times where we could have taken a little bit of the pressure off ourselves, but now it gives us something to improve on heading into next week". As regards to Reguilón, he admitted he was worried but thankfully it doesn't seem too bad: "We were all a little worried because he is a massive part of this group, but he's fine and relaxed, so everything's well".

On a personal note, he was feeling good after his slight niggle during the week: "I still have a bandage on my foot; we were nearly at a point where I couldn't play but I did some work on it so that I could be on the pitch to help my team. I will always do what the coach needs me to do; but now we have to rest before our next match on Friday".
