Sevilla FC have found out their UEFA Europa League opponents after today's draw at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. As first seed, Julen Lopetegui's squad, the five-time winners, avoided the strongest sides, facing sides from pots 2, 3 and 4. The draw has given Sevilla three opponents that we've never faced before. These three opponents are APOEL Nicosia from Cyprus, Qarabag Agdam from Azerbaijan and F91 Dudelange from Luxembourg.
Our opponents from pot 2 is APOEL Nicosia, which means Sevilla FC will travel to Cyprus for the first time.. APOEL lost in the Champions League qualifiers against Ajax after, unbelievably, knocking out Qarabag. They have won the league seven times in a row and qualified for the Champions League 17 times, reaching the group stage on three occasions and reached the quarter finals in 2011/12. Their best run in the Europa League was reaching the quarter finals in 2016/17, where they were beaten by Anderlecht.
The three other sides in the group are the reigning champions in their countries, but were beaten in the Champions League qualifiers.
The longest trip will take us to Azerbaijan, to face Qarabag Agdam. They have won their league six times in a row, so they have played in the Champions League qualifiers since 2014, but they only reached the group stage in 2017/18, finishing bottom. This will be their fifth season in the Europa League group stage, which they have never qualified from. They defeated Linfield from Northern Ireland in the last round.
F91 Dudelange are the final side in the group, who have dominated in Luxembourg during the last five years, winning the league for the last 4 years, and have become the second most successful side in the country after Jeunesse Esch. They have played 34 Champions League matches and 12 Europa League matches in their history, but their best season was last season, reaching the UEL group stages for the first time. Their group consisted of AC Milan, Olympiacos and Real Betis, and finished the group stages with one point.

The final home match is on 28th November against Qarabag and we finish in Cyprus against APOEL on 12th December. The home matches kick of at 21:00, while the away matches start at 18:55.
