Sevilla FC and Paris Saint Germain have reached an agreement which sees Sergio Rico join the French side on a season-long loan, with an option to make the move permanent.
The goalkeeper from Montequinto joined the Sevilla FC academy at the U-10 level and made his debut on 14th September 2014 against Getafe in Nervión. He clocked up 15,229 minutes for the side, playing in 170 official matches, and keeping a clean sheet in 58 of them.
The academy graduate won 2 UEFA Europa League titles, playing in the 2014/15 final against FC Dnipro, and against Liverpool FC in 2015/16. It's worth remembering too that he made his international debut with Spain during his time here.
It will be his second loan deal here, playing on 32 occasions with Fulham FC last season, who were in the Premier League.
Sevilla FC wishes Rico the very best of luck in his stay at PSG, the reigning French champions.
