"I think we're all ready, and we're working very well"

Fernando spoke about Sevilla FC's win against Alavés: "It was a very difficult match, but we played really well in the first half. The second half was harder but we've got the three points.

"They pressed high up the pitch all match, we've had chances to score but in the end it was difficult".

It was a hard-fought win at a tough stadium to visit: "I'm happy because it's always difficult playing at these grounds. We have to continue like this to win the upcoming matches". The Brazilian also spoke very highly of Joan Jordán: "He scored a great goal, and he's playing really well. I hope he keeps playing the same away and scores more goals".

Sevilla FC are now top of the league: "We've started very well but we have to keep up the good form, one match at a time, and winning all the time". The Europa League journey starts in Baku on Thursday: "I think we're all ready, and we're working very well. I hope we keep playing like this, we will win games".
