The Sevilla FC manager was congratulated upon achieving his first home win: "We were very keen to win at home against a good side, and we've responded well"

Julen Lopetegui spoke after Sunday's win against Real Sociedad in Nervión. Firstly, the Sevilla manager summed up the match: "3-2 always makes you a bit nervous, but the three points were fully deserved, it was a great match".

Also, the match marked Lopetegui's first home win as Sevilla manager: "We were very keen to win at home against a good side, and we've responded well". He then spoke about the side's ability to come from behind: "We went behind early, starting like that means it's very hard but the players have shown good character".
