SEVILLA FC WERE PRESENT IN THE INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CONFERENCE ‘MICLINICATOP’

Sevilla FC were joined at the International Medical Conference for Sport, Physiotherapy and Sport and Physical Activity: ‘MICLINICATOP’, by other teams such as Tottenham Hotspur, Atlético de Madrid, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, AS Mónaco and Real Betis, which took place in the latter's stadium, the Benito Villamarín. First team doctor, Juan José Jiménez, physio Antonio Muñoz and physiotherapist Antonio Rodríguez were all there to represent Sevilla FC, as they gave a lecture on the 'Latest updates on Osteopathy: a multidisciplinary approach for the elite footballer'.

The congress wanted to show the working systems of Health from a multidisciplinary point of view, betting on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, and the great advances in advanced physiotherapy. Another one of the topics that was discussed was the increasing important and fundamental role that women play in the world of Health and Science. Talking of this, the sharing of medical experiences at an international level, Sevilla FC has been an example of how an elite European club should work.
