LOPETEGUI SPEAKING ON EL TRANSISTOR: "SEVILLA IS ON EVERY MANAGER'S MIND"

"We are looking at a more recognisable side, but it's still early days"

Julen Lopetegui, the Sevilla FC manager, spoke on Onda Cero radio last night, during the El Transistor programme, presented by José Ramón de la Morena. Lopetegui covered various topics since his arrival in Nervión this summer.

"Sevilla is a big club and is on every manager's mind. It's both an important and very attractive club", he commented. Regarding the project that he and his coaching staff are leading, he stated: "This club has a special personality, and we have a huge responsibility to take Sevilla to the top, which is what our fans want".

"I have become a true Sevillista, it feels like we have spent a long time living here"

The man from Gipuzkoa also spoke about Monchi's summer signings: "All the signings were agreed on between Monchi and myself. We are looking at a more recognisable side, but it's still early days".

Finally, he spoke about moving to Sevilla, confirming that the people are welcoming, to the point that he and his family feel that they "have spent a long time living here. I have become a true Sevillista".
