Éver Banega assessed Sevilla FC's draw at the Mestalla: "We're left with a bitter taste, we had the match in our hands. We were playing really well, we had the ball, we needed a bit more up front to win the match". The Argentine also spoke about Valencia: "They're a big side, we know it's difficult coming here. We think we played well. We've again dropped points at a stadium like this, we have to kill the tie off when we get the chance. Still, it's a good point".

"Obviously it feels bad when we controlled a game like this, kept the ball, didn't stop attacking, and we didn't win, we weren't able to hold on. We have to keep working hard so that in this type of match, at a tough away ground, we can kill them off".
