The daily newspaper Marca made the most of the international break this weekend in Marbella by hosting the Marca Sport Weekend. This was an event with different meetings and discussions, in which many people from the world of football participated. One of these conferences, which was led by the journalist, José Félix Díaz, wanted to delve into what the life of a manager is like: something which is largely misunderstood in this sport as it's only the present that matters.

Luckily, he was able to speak with Joaquín Caparrós, a man who has an unquestionable track record as a manager, and someone who has done a lot of different types of management going from the manager of Sevilla FC first-team, to his current role as the director of 'Talent Development' in the Sevilla FC academy. The Utrerian shared the debate with two current managers: Diego Martínez, current manager of Granada CF, as well as Jorge Vilda, the manager of the Spain women's national football team.

After reflecting upon the difficulties that a manager faces to count on the complete trust of his coaches when things go wrong, Caparrós wanted to give his side of the argument: "Who motivates or makes the manager feel better after a defeat? You have to be mentally strong to put it behind you, and continue moving forward towards the next game. This is how it is set up".
