BANEGA: "WE ALWAYS HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THE THREE POINTS"

Éver Banega, Sevilla FC's goalscorer and match-winner in the win over Real Valladolid, spoke to the cameras after the game: "It was a tricky game at a tricky place. But thankfully we came away with all three points". Banega scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot - a penalty which he had to retake: "VAR takes care of these decisions, we just have to get on with it. If they adjudged him to have stepped off his line before the penalty was taken, then it had to be retaken".
