Now that the 1st round of the Copa del Rey has (nearly) finished, the draw for the second round will take place at 13:00 CET at Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas. The 28 matches will take place on the weekend of 10th-12th January, with the 55 qualified sides and Yeclano Deportivo, who received a bye to the second round.
As per RFEF rules, there will be one pot with all the sides from LaLiga and the Second Division, and another pot with the sides from Second Division B and the Third Division (third and fourth tiers). Curiously, 28 sides have qualified for each pot, so no side from the same division will face each other. Here are the list of teams in the draw, Sevilla FC can play against either one of the 20 sides from Segunda B or one of the 8 from the Third Division. The 8 Third Divison sides will play against teams from LaLiga, while the remaining LaLiga sides will play against teams in the Second Division B. Sevilla FC will play away from home in this round.
Two of the balls will represent ties that are yet to be decided
