Bono was once again the starting goalkeeper in the Copa del Rey and congratulated his teammates on progressing through to the next round of the cup: "The team put in a very complete performance. We were on it from the get go and the boys played well in the first half which made things easier in the second half. The attitude was good and these are the types of games that help you grow as a professional and as a team".
The good work in the attacking half of the pitch meant that Bono didn't have much to deal with: "It's not easy, because teams put everyone behind the ball and you have to find a way through. On the other hand, they can surprise you from a set-piece or something; however, the team was well aware of this and were switched on from the start and managed the game well".
In addition, he spoke about how the surface wasn't a problem: "We came prepared both mentally and also for the playing surface. It wasn't bad and the ball rolled quite nicely. We were able to play our game and the team played well in general. We're going to keep taking every game as it comes, keep on improving and from then on we'll be well on our way".
