Youssef En-Nesyri, Sevilla FC's newest recruit, gave his first interview as a Sevilla player after signing on the dotted line until 2025: "I'm feeling very good. I really like this team and I've been thinking about playing here for a few years now and pulling on this jersey, as well as playing at this ground in front of the incredible fans. Sevilla are going well at the top of the table and I'm delighted to be here".
EN-NESYRI: "I LOVE THIS TEAM AND HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO PULL ON THIS SHIRT"
"The first thing I think about is the change in my life and now I have to give everything for this team. A few of my teammates from Leganés spoke to me about it and I have to thank all of them because of how much they have helped me along the way".
"I want to play in many games throughout the year, as well as playing in Europe... I've come here to work hard each day and score goals"
Sevilla's new front-man also said: "The first time I came here it didn't go too well for us. The fans are so telling on the outcome and it makes it difficult for the opposition to play against Sevilla FC. It's not easy. I want to play in Europe, and play in more games each year... in the Europa League, or Champions League - we'll take it one step at a time".
Finally, En-Nesyri made it clear his reasoning behind his move to Sevilla FC: "I've come to work hard and score goals. This is a massive club and you have to work each day to gain confidence and get to know new people. I want to thank the club, who have helped me get here, and the manager as well, who has worked hard to get me here".
