On Monday evening, Sevilla FC held their traditional dinner to celebrate the anniversary of the Club. Everyone from top to bottom, including all of the teams within in the club were present. 15 years had passed since such an event had taken place, and this year it coincided with the 130th anniversary of Sevilla FC.
After all the teams got a photo together on the pitch at the Jesús Navas stadium, they set off for the Cartuja Center. Once there, the Board, as well as the first team squads of both the men and women teams, all of the academy players were seated at tables with names that play a huge part in our history. These names included: José Antonio Reyes, Juan Arza, Antonio Puerta. Legendary shirts and kit numbers such as José María Busto, Marcelo Campanal, Achucarro and Antonio Valero were also used. Furthermore, there were golden benches with names like Antonio Álvarez, Curro Sanjosé and Manolo Cardo, along with many other tireless and eternal warriors who wore the Sevilla shirt with pride.
The dinner commenced with a toast and the traditional speech given by the President, José Castro. The event went on as normal until dessert time, when the captains of the men's and women's first teams, as well as the youth players, were presented with the commemorative cake. The day concluded with the blowing out of the candles whilst the Himno of 'El Arrebato' was played.
