Sevilla FC's centre-back, Jules Koundé, was the guest on last night's edition of 'A Balón Parado'. The French footballer couldn't hide his happiness about the season so far: "I'm delighted and I've played a lot of minutes. The team is playing well, and we're well positioned in both the league and the cup competitions. The truth is that we've got a great group of players".
Koundé emphasised the importance of football, the game itself, for this squad: "This team lives for football. Before matches we're always talking about football, which for me is very important". Koundé also went on to speak about his teammate, Diego Carlos: "He's an animal. He's so strong and powerful. He's a complete footballer. He can carry the ball forward and take it out of the defence, and also can play accurate long balls with ease".
