LOPETEGUI TAKES A SQUAD OF 22 TO ROMANIA

Already on their way to Romania, the squad which left this morning from Sevilla, was announced last night as Julen Lopetegui opted to bring 22 players. The only ones to stay in Sevilla were Daniel Carriço and Javi Díaz.

Our two January signings, En-Nesyri and Suso, both come into the Europa League squad. Due to UEFA regulation however, they will have to change their squad number for the Europa League matches as the organisation doesn't allow the same number to be used by more than one player in a single season. Therefore, Suso will take the number 41, whilst En-Nesyri will wear the number 51.

The squad is as follows: Vaclík, Bono, Alfonso, Jesús Navas, Koundé, Diego Carlos, Sergi Gómez, Reguilón, Escudero, Gudelj, Fernando, Joan Jordán, Banega, Óliver Torrres, Franco Vázquez, Rony Lopes, Suso, Ocampos, Nolito, Munir, De Jong and En-Nesyri.
