Jules Koundé could not hide his satisfaction after the 1-0 win over Valencia: "We're very happy with the win, I think we did a good job. Valencia are a good side and were fighting for Europe. We did not play well in the last 25 minutes, but we've won and finished off a great season".
The defensive effort has hit new highs this season, but for Koundé, it's down to everyone: "The whole team worked very well during lockdown and the mini pre-season. We're very happy with this good defence, that's the foundation, and to finish the season with a clean sheet. It's the whole team's job, and they have done well".
He also evaluated his first season in Nervión, and could not be more positive: "I'm happy because we're in the Champions League and individually I felt really good after the lockdown. Now, time to rest and prepare for the Europa League match".
