One year, one month and 17 days after the first training session led by Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla FC have now finished the longest season in their 130-year history by lifting the UEL for the sixth time in Cologne. An unprecedented season, which saw just eight days off at Christmas and just six days to prepare for the European matches in August - with complete success.
The first team will have a well-deserved break for two weeks. They are due back on Sunday 6th September to undergo the medical tests ahead of the first training session of the season, which is scheduled for Monday 7th.
The LaLiga Santander fixtures are yet to be confirmed, so the first official match that has been confirmed is the UEFA Super Cup, which will take place on 24th September in Budapest.
