The first set of international fixtures in the 2020/21 season took place today, and there were Sevillistas in action today, with Jesús Navas and Óscar Rodríguez playing for Spain, Gudelj playing for Serbia and Pozo with Spain U21. Navas played the first 45 minutes for the Spanish national time as they drew 1-1 in Stuttgart against Germany thanks to a late Gayá equaliser. The man from Los Palacios started on the right wing, in front of Carvajal, and even moved to the left wing as he switched positions with ex-Valencia youngster Ferrán Torres. Navas was later replaced by Ansu Fati.
Óscar Rodríguez then came on to make his debut with the national side in the 80th minute, as the new signing replaced Fabián in the centre of the park, and helped Luis Enrique's side pick up a point on German soil.
Nemanja Gudelj played the full 90 minutes for Serbia as the side from the Balkans faced a trip to Russia, but they were defeated 3-1. Pozo also wore the captain's armband as Spain U21 picked up a 1-0 win away at North Macedonia, thanks to an 85th minute penalty from Hugo Duro.
