Less than 12 hours into 2021, Sevilla FC were back in training at the Jesús Navas Stadium. The first fixture of the year is a clash in El Gran Derbi, with Julen Lopetegui leading the final pre-match training session. Chairman José Castro, Vice-Chairman José María del Nido Carrasco and General Sporting Director Monchi were all present.

The manager will give his pre-match press conference at midday today, with the Nervionenses looking for a seventh consecutive away win in all competitions. Tomorrow's match will be played with the special yellow ball for two reasons: as well as the match being in the final four matchdays of the first half of the season, it features two sides from the same autonomous community.
