SEVILLA FC TOUCH DOWN IN VITORIA AND AWAIT TONIGHT'S MATCH AGAINST DEPORTIVO ALAVÉS

The team travelled this Tuesday morning after Diego Carlos tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday

Sevilla FC have arrived in Vitoria ahead of matchday 19 tonight in La Liga. The match marks the end of the first half of the season, however Sevilla still have to play the postponed game against Elche which will take place in March. The Nervionenses landed in the Basque Country around midday after leaving Seville at 11:00 CET. The team was scheduled to leave yesterday but had to delay the trip due to Diego Carlos testing positive for COVID-19 yesterday morning.

The team was accompanied by Vice-President José María del Nido Carrasco, as well as Sporting Director Monchi, and his assistant, Fernando Navarro. Board members Luis Galán and Enrique de la Cerda also travelled with the team.

Julen Lopetegui's team will stay at the team hotel until it is time to head to the Mendizorroza for tonight's game with kick-off at 21:30 CET.
