Sevilla players featured heavily during Tuesday night's international fixtures. After Gudelj played a part in Serbia's win in the afternoon, another five players featured in the evening matches. The only player who did not feature was Bono, as Munir Mohand donned the gloves instead. However, it was another Munir, in this case, the Sevillista, who sealed the win with his first international goal for Morocco. Although his side had already secured qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations, they still rounded off the qualifying stage with a win, with En-Nesyri playing the full 90 minutes and Munir playing for 81 minutes, before he was replaced by Ziyech.
Back in Europe, Luuk de Jong scored his third goal of this international break, one goal in each match, as the Netherlands won away at Gibraltar. Although it had taken the team 42 minutes to open the scoring, Luuk de Jong soon added the second in a 7-0 win, with goals from Berghuis, Depay (2), Wijnaldum, Malen and Van de Beek. De Jong was replaced with nine minutes to spare by Ryan Babel. The Netherlands have six points from their three matches and are second in the group, taking them level on points with Montenegro and Norway, and one point behind Turkey.
The third national side with a Sevilla presence to play on Tuesday night was the Czech Republic, who, as they did in their last match against Belgium, had Tomás Vaclík in goal. They were unable to pick up any points during their visit to Wales as they lost to a second-half Daniel James strike. The Czech Republic are second in their group with four points, three less than group leaders Belgium. Wales and Belarus are a point behind the Czechs with a game in hand.
