Diego Carlos has been called up by Brazil for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. On Thursday, the Brazil U23 manager, André Jardine, confirmed the squad for the competition which begins next month, with the Sevilla centre half amongst the 18-man squad.
The man from São Paulo is one of the three overage players in the squad, alongside ex-Sevillista Dani Alves. Brazil are in Group D for the tournament, and will face Germany, Ivory Coast and Saudi Arabia on 22nd, 25th and 28th July respectively. The first two matches will take place in Yokohama, while the final group match will be played in Saitama.
