Sevilla FC present a gift at the III Manolo Cardo Trophy

Coria CF beat Sevilla FC C on penalties, with the Sevillistas preparing for their debut in the Third Division on September 12.

The Manolo Cardo Trophy testimonial match, which has been held every year since 2018 except for last year due to the pandemic, took place on Wednesday. The game took place in the Sevilla FC legend's hometown and was played between Coria CF and Sevilla FC C. Manolo Cardo himself was present to watch the game as well as Sevilla FC President, José Castro, and Coria CF President, Manuel Romero.

Before the game, both sides presented gifts to Cardo on the pitch. The game continued to be goalless after 90 minutes despite the Nervión side having the opportunity to go a goal ahead with their penalty, but they failed to capitalise. The game was decided on penalties where Coria CF came out on top after winning 5-4 on penalties. Sevilla FC C will make its debut in Group X of the Third Division on September 12 against CD Gerena.
