AUGUSTINSSON AND DELANEY CALLED UP FOR INTERNATIONAL DUTY WITH SWEDEN AND DENMARK NEXT MONTH

Two of Sevilla FC's most recent signings have been called up for international duty next month. Both Ludwig Augustinsson and Thomas Delaney will travel to Scandinavia to play for Sweden and Denmark respectively in the World Cup Qualifiers for Qatar 2022. 

The Swedish National Team will face Spain on September 2 in Solna before playing a friendly against Uzbekistan three days later in Stockholm. They will then face Greece in the final qualifier of the international break on Wednesday, September 8 in Thessaloniki. Sweden is currently second in the group with two wins from two. Spain are one point ahead at the top of the group having played an additional game.  

A semi-finalist at the last European Championships, Delaney will also compete in three fixtures with the Danish National Team. Denmark will play against Scotland on September 1 in Copenhagen before then coming up against the Faroe Islands on September 4. The third and final game will see them face Israel in Copenhagen again on September 7. Denmark currently top Group F with 9 points from three games, and are four points ahead of second-placed Israel.
